We know that machine downtime can impact your activity. Engine renovation is therefore important. This is the reason why Eneria has invested in its own renovation workshops for engines (the ARME engine renovation workshop) and Caterpillar spare parts renovation (the SAVE parts renovation workshop).
What is a renovation workshop at ENERIA ?
Eneria has its own engine renovation workshop for the repair and restoration of marine, industrial and railway engines and generators. Our dedicated teams can perform minor repairs, such as replacing worn-out spare parts, or major repairs, such as renovating a complete engine.
Engine retrofit shops also allow you to perform overhauls, tests and inspections to check the proper functioning of your engines.
Eneria proposes a global services and maintenance offer: preventive maintenance, oil checks, maintenance contracts, Caterpillar warranties, spare parts, engine renovations and system optimisation.

Maintenance and renovation of Caterpillar engines: give a second lease of life to your engine
Since 2020, the Maintenance and Services teams at Eneria have been renovating your Caterpillar engines in our new ARME engine renovation workshop, located on our manufacturing site in Montlhéry, near Paris.
Our experts renovate Caterpillar engines that are more powerful than 2 MW. Engines that are less powerful than 2 MW are renovated in the Monnoyeur Component Reconditioning Centre (CRC) in Brie-Comte-Robert, France.

An engine and parts renovation workshop that complies with Caterpillar’s Contamination Control programme
The engine and parts renovation workshops meet the various assessment criteria of the Contamination Control programme, i.e.:
- Safety: everything is designed to protect the safety of the equipment and the technicians using leading-edge devices.
- Clean workshops: The floor of the workshop is cleaned every day with an auto-washer. In this way, the technicians can work in a healthy workshop.
- The quality of the tools: Eneria has installed equipment in the workshop to move heavy loads and to make the technicians’ work easier.
- Processes: the engines are renovated according to the process explained in the four steps above.
QUALITY ASSESSMENT
The Eneria engine and parts renovation workshops scored the maximum of five stars in Caterpillar’s Contamination Control assessment programme.
